Rest in Peace Maurice Sendak
Maurice Sendak, author of many children's books, died May 8, 2012 at the age of 83. He is probably most well known for his Caldecott winning book, Where the Wild Things Are. He has also written, In the Night Kitchen, Outside Over There, which form a trilogy with Where the Wild Things Are. In addition, Sendak authored The Sign on Rosie's Door, Higglety Pigglety Pop!, Alligators All Around, Chicken Soup with Rice, One Was Johnny, and Pierre.
